I have been a GW player since the day it came out. Recently I have come up with a dilemma. I will try to make a long story short.

Recently my brother in law was shipped of to jail for a long time( it's ok nobody in the family likes him that much anyway, he deserved it)......anyway he had just purchased a brand new SPECIAL EDITION copy of GW before going away. I have just acquired his game and started to play it. -Yes I know it is against EULA rules but that is beside the point.- Ty for not harping at me for that.

The problems I am having is with the bonus Skill Pack key that came with it.

I have noticed that none of his 2 characters or the ones I create start with the weapon upgrades , skills, or armour upgrades. I am not sure if he had used the key or not. So I tried the key and it says I cannot use the key because it has been already used. So I am unsure if it has been used or if he gave it away.

My question is for the people that do have the skill pack key under thier account.

DOES IT SHOW UP IN YOUR KEY ACCESS MANAGEMENT AREA? This one says I have no other features added to the account. In the key access area it has 2 boxes and the top one says "this account has access to GW prophecies core copy" or something along those lines......The next box is where it shows if you have the collectors edition on your account or any other additions to the account. So if this account had the skill pack added already( hence the reason I can't install it again) would it say "Skill Pack access key added"? Any help wil be appreciated.

All that means is when he put the code in: 7 common skills, 1 elite, and 2 armor/weapon upgrades were already unlocked for his account so he doesnt have to buy them with faction or money later. (in guild wars you use Faction, or Money, to "unlock" skills for use in pvp) .

It does nothing to the "manage keys" screen.

Furthermore, those skills and upgrades are for pvp, not pve characters
